Super Junior (also SJ or SuJu) was formed under SM Entertainment and they officially debuted as a twelve membered project group called Super Junior 05 on 6th November 2005 on SBS's music program "Popular Song". Kyuhyun joined the group in 2006. Their official japanese debut was in June 2011 with the release of japanese version of "Bonamana".
Hankyung left the group in 2009 after filing a lawsuit against their agency SM Entertainment. Kibum left the group in 2010 to concentrate on his acting career. Heechul is at the moment inactive because of military service. However the remaining members consider the absent three to be part of the group regardless.
Their official fanclub is called E.L.F., which stands for "Ever Lasting Friend". Their official colour is Pearl Sapphire Blue. Members Profile:
