GP Basic stands for Girl Power Basic and was formed by GP Basic Entertainment. They had their debut on 15th August 2010.
GP Basic is known for their average age during debut was 13.5 years old. So they were the second youngest group which debuted in 2010. This caused a controversy and this caused that the youngest member was prohibited to perform on music shows.
Their fanclub is called Basically and their official colour is Purple.
