Big Bang was formed under the label YG Entertainment and they had their official debut on 19th August 2006 during the YG Family 10th Concert. The first debut performance on TV they had on 23rd September 2006. Their official japanese debut was on 4th January 2008 with the release of the japanese mini-album "For the World".
Big Bang allows each member to shine as individuals as they often take on solo activities im music, acting, MCing and even music producing. With busy schedules, they can work seperately and work together without any problems. Their methods may be unconventional but they balance their careers

Their official fanclub is called VIP. On one hand it refers to their debut track off their second single album and on the other hand how they regard their loyal supporters. They haven't got an official color but their official light stick is a signature yellow crown, which reflects Big Bang's title as the Kings.
